Lewis and Clark Habitat for Humanity-Alton is a grassroots, community-based organization that relies on local volunteers to build homes, community and hope in the Alton, IL area.
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Alton Area of Habitat for Humanity, and we are proud that our homes are constructed almost entirely by volunteers.
Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with God and people everywhere, from all walks of life, to develop communities with God’s people in need by building and renovating houses so that there are decent houses in decent communities in which people can live and grow into what God intended.
